Why Therapy?

Psychotherapy offers a supportive space for facing challenges, gaining skills and strengths, and enhancing quality of life. Whether you are dealing with relationship conflict, stress, a specific life problem, or difficult symptoms, the insights and skills that come from therapy can be invaluable.

How Therapy Can Help

Relationships & Connection

Create and maintain more satisfying relationships. Improve communication and develop healthier interpersonal patterns.

Emotional Well-Being

Reduce the intensity of painful emotions and symptoms. Develop effective coping strategies for stress, anxiety, and low mood.

Self-Understanding

Cultivate greater self-esteem, self-acceptance, and self-worth. Clarify what you want your life to look like and the steps to get there.

Lasting Change

Move beyond temporary fixes. Work with the underlying patterns that keep difficulties in place so change can stick.

Life Transitions & Stress

Get support adjusting to and coping with stress related to life transitions, work, illness, loss, and other significant changes.

My Approach

Given the complexity of our lives and the reasons we seek psychotherapy, I believe treatment should be goal-oriented and focused, yet flexible and sensitive to the uniqueness of who we are.

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and mindfulness- and mentalization-based practices—to help individuals, couples, and families improve the quality of their lives.
